Found – 1 camera charger!

Moving images

And a good morning to all.

I would like to share with you my desire to own a digital camcorder. I would love one. Funds are extremely limited, and I will quite possibly, if not almost definitely, have to wait until my birthday to get one. And it will not be an expensive one.

The camcorder I have been looking at recently is the Flip Video Mino F360. It is small and perfectly formed. And I would like it.

Years ago I needed to take photos. It was a strong urge. I have now got well over 4000 photos on my flickr stream.

Now I need to shoot video. It is a strong urge. I would love to be able to regularly post sweet video footage to my vimeo account. To be able to video blog would be most enjoyable, and would also considerably vary my postage here.

I want one. I need one. But I will wait. Of course I will wait. But in the meantime, if you’re feeling generous, you know…

Scrap that. I can just shoot small videos on my Ixus for now.

Busy day

Today's a busy day.

Yes. Today is a busy day. But I only have a two main tasks to complete. It’s still busy. I’m planning Men Cubed for tomorrow morning, and Cleaning The House.

The most daunting job is in fact Cleaning The House. Of course, now I’m married, I don’t clean it by my standards. I clean it by my wife’s standards. And they are high standards. I think I have yet to impress.

My hat spurs me on to do good.

Bread

I tried to find a video about danish cobs (my childhood midnight feast treat), but all I could find was this clip of Bread. I loved this programme. Also from my childhood. I say all I could find – Bread was a classic.

How to do a midnight feast

So, thanks to my mum’s comment we have deduced that I wasn’t a malnourished child.

I smiled at remembering taking myself off to the bakery at the end of the road to buy a large loaf of bread. I used to take the bread to bed with me. I set the alarm for midnight and when it went off, I reached down for my loaf of bread. I picked out all the fluffy insides of it and ate that, then when I had just the outer crust left, I ate that too. It was a big loaf of bread. Then I went back to sleep, unless it was a special midnight feast, in which case I would wash the bread down with some dolly mixtures. But don’t tell mum that bit.

Pleased to meet you, Bill

In my school “planning time” I’ve just been chatting with another teacher called Bill. A very good man. We were talking about jobs, passions, dancing(?!), life in general. And it turns out he’s also a Christian. Very happy about that.

I’d better plan some lessons.
